Oats Cutlet

Recipe card for Oats Cutlet:

Preparation Time : 10 mins 

Cooking Time: 15 mins - 20 mins

Serves: 10 pieces

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats 

  • 1/2 cup fresh coconut 

  • 1 tsp green chilly paste

  • 1 tbsp coriander

  • 1/2 cup curd

  • 1 medium onion chopped 

  • 1 tsp cumin seeds 

  • 1-2 tsp gram flour/besan (for binding)

  • salt (as per taste)  

  • oil (for roasting)

Instruction:

  1. Take a mixing bowl and add all the ingredients: rolled oats, fresh coconut, green chilly paste, coriander, curd, onions,cumin seeds, gram flour, salt.

  2. Mix well to form a dough.

  3. Check the binding and if required add more gram flour.

  4. Take a portion of he dough and make thin round cutlets.

  5. Heat a pan, add oil, place the cutlets and put some more oil on top.

  6. Roast them well .

  7. Flip over,add oil and roast them on the other side.

  8. Serve hot with some ketchup or some spicy dip.
