Mint Masala Baby Aloo

Serves: 3-4 people

Ingredients:
For pressure cooker:
-
300 gms baby potatoes
-
1/2 tsp salt
-
water
For grinding:
-
2 handful mint leaves
-
1 handful coriander
-
8 cloves garlic
-
10 green chillies
-
1 tsp lemon juice
-
salt (as per taste)
For frying:
-
2 tbsp oil
-
1/2 tsp mustard seeds

Instruction:
-
In a pressure cooker boil the baby potatoes with salt and water for two whistles.

Release the pressure and peel the skin of the potatoes and set aside.

In a mixing jar, add mint leaves, coriander, garlic, green chilly, lemon juice and salt.

Grind it to a coarse paste and set aside.

Add oil to a heated pan and splutter mustard seeds.

Add the boiled potatoes and fry till it starts to turn golden brown.

Add the grounded paste and give a nice mix.

Fry this mixture for about 3 mins and turn off the flame.

It tastes great when served with steamed rice, chapathi or seperately even as a evening snack.

Method:
