Anjur Malai

Recipe card for Anjur Malai:

Preparation Time : 5mins 

Cooking Time: 35mins - 40 mins

Serves: 4-5 bowls

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lt milk​

  • 8-10 dry anjur rinsed 

  • 4-5 tsp sugar (adjust according to the taste)

  • 3 tsp cashew and badam pieces

  • 2 cardamom peeled

  • 1 tbsp mawa/khova (optional).

​

Instruction:

  1. Take a kadai and heat the milk and bring it to a boiling stage.

  2. After boiling for 5 mins add dry anjur and sugar and boil for 15 mins, until the anjur bloats. 

  3. Add mawa and stir well for 2 mins.

  4. Add cardamom and give a nice stir. 

  5. Add dry fruits, stir well and turn off the flame 

  6. Bring it to the room temprature and refrigerate for minimum an hour. 

  7. Serve cold with good amount of malai.
