Besan Dosa Spring Roll

Serves: 15 pieces

Ingredients:

​​    For Batter:​​

  • 1 cup Besan

  • 1 tsp rice flour

  • 1tsp red chilli powder

  • 2 pinch hing

  • 2 cloves garlic crushed

  • 1/4 tsp sugar

  • 1/4 tsp soda

  • salt

  • oil for roasting

    For Topping:

  • ​1 small carrot grated

  • 1 small capsicum chopped

  • 1 medium onion chopped

  • 1 green chilli chopped

  • coriander chopped

  • grated cheese(optional)

Instruction:

  1. Mix all the batter ingredients with water in a bowl (consistency like bajji batter).

  2. Mix all the vegetables together.

  3. Take a pan/dosa tawa and heat it. 

  4. Pour a ladle full of besan batter and spread out in circular motion slightly thinner than masala dosa.

  5. Spread 1tsp oil over dosa

  6. Spread all the chopped vegetables along with cheese

  7. Cover and roast till it turns crisp and golden brown.

  8. Finally roll it on the tawa and cut it into pieces.

  9. Serve it hot with ketchup/mint chutney.
