Avarebele Gulpavte/
Hyacinth Beans Sweet Cakes

Serves: 10 pieces

Ingredients:
-
​1 cup Avarebele
-
3/4 cup jaggery
-
1 cup fresh coconut shaving
-
1 cardamom
-
1/2 cup milk
-
2 tsp til seeds
-
4 tsp ghee
-
2 tbsp dry coconut
​
Instruction:
-
Dry roast til seeds in a saucepan and set aside.
-
Heat 2 tsp ghee in a saucepan and fry avarebele/hyacinth beans.
-
Fry till the rawness is gone.
-
Cool it and transfer to a mixing jar.
-
Add the following and grind well: jaggery, fresh coconut shaving, cardamom, milk

Heat 1 tsp ghee in a saucepan and fry the grounded paste.

Fry till the moist is gone and it starts to thicken.
-
Finally add the roasted til seeds, 1 tsp ghee and mix well.

Turn off the flame and cool it.

Grease your with ghee, pinch a small portion and start making flat patties.

Coat the patties with dry coconut and is ready to be served.
